Attempting to install BookedScheduler 2.7.2 on WAMP Server. I've installed various wares on a WAMP Server, but I experienced some difficulties installing Booked. I was able to find an installation demo from the developer on Youtube, however it was barely usable. When I was finally able to get the application to load the next step calls for creating an administrator account by navigating to the register.php file. Simple enough. I attempted to create an account, but couldn't get past the captcha image (it did not appear). Searching for a solution I came across an option to disable the captcha in the config.php file. Yes, it did disable captcha however, I still could not create an account. I also attempted to install Booked with the demo database to attempt logging in with the pre-configured admin account. I couldn't log in. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Booked multiple times attempting to make it work. Sadly, following the same process each time would sometimes cause Booked to not even launch. Unfortunately, Booked is really glitchy and unpredicatable during installation. The captcha image issue I traced back to at least 2012 and apparently is still an issue. I would really like to find an open source resource scheduling app; thought this was it. Great idea, poor execution.
For a novice in PHP I was able to adjust and create to our specific needs within a few days. Excelent. Adjustments in index.php is located in Help section once installed. Suggestion: it could be included in readme_installation.html
